Free Trial Plan FAQs


This document explains everything you want to know about the Free Trial Plan.


What is a Free Trial Plan?

We recently launched a feature - Try it before you buy it for our virtual numbers. When we saw how many people showed interest, it got us wondering, why just numbers? Why not entire plans?

So what we have here for you is one whole month of fully-featured trials for any of our existing plans (Missed Call/Basic/Advance/Premium). Explore any one of these plans - in live environment - with all the features that come with each plan.


At the end of 30 days, you can choose to pay for the same plan or upgrade to a higher plan to get even more features. Easy!


Why should I sign-up for Free Trial plan?

Why not? You want to know more about Cloud Telephony and its features, but not sure you want to invest in it yet?

You want to set up communication via cloud telephony but don’t know which plan suits you the best?

Just browsing the market for the right fit?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, we don’t have to tell you why you should go for a Free Trial.


Will there be any difference between Free Trial and its equivalent paid plan?

Free Trial plan comes to you as an independent solution. This is only available in the self-serve mode, which means assisted set-up for your free account will not be available.

What we do have instead is a plethora of support articles and our YouTube channel  for you to help learn all there is to know about these accounts and their features. Other small differences are:


  • Premium/Additional/Self-Chosen numbers will not be available for the trial.

  • Validity will be for one month only. Plans will be payable post expiry.

  • Assisted setup of the account will not be available

  • Trial plans are Self-serve only.

  • Support lines will be available for service requests.

  • Access to our support articles to enable self-serve.


Do I need to submit my KYC documents to use this plan?

Yes, KYC Documents are mandatory as regulated by the Department of Telecommunications. Without proper identity and proof of business, your services will be suspended within 7 days of signing up for the plan. Knowlarity will not be responsible for any loss of data in this scenario. Additionally, plan validity will not be extended.


Can I access the SuperReceptionist mobile app during the free trial?

Definitely! You can download the Android app on Google Play store from here and explore your account on-the-go.


Will Call Logs be available under the Free Trial Plan?

Yes, you will get all the call details under this plan for up to 30 days only. We will be unable to store the logs post expiry.


Can I recharge my account with credits during Free Trial Plan?  

In case you use all your credit balance, free trial plan does not allow you to purchase additional credits. You will have to upgrade your plan to a paid version to add credits to your account.


Will I need to buy the same plan that I tried during Free Trial?

There is no such mandate. You can upgrade to a higher plan if you wish. However, in case you decide to downgrade your plan, your account’s settings will be reset to sync your account with the new plan.


Can I retain the same SuperReceptionist display number from my Free Trial Plan when I move to a paid plan?

Absolutely! Your number preference will be stored with us for up to one-week after the expiry. In this time, you can purchase a new plan with the same number. If you choose to buy a plan after one week, a number will be automatically allocated to you. You can also request a premium/special number at this stage.
